Will of the Soul; the Magistrate of Reishi

The Soul's Will is the most spectral feat within any Adept's repertoire. It is the direct reason they are capable of converting mere mundane items to something sufficient to supply them with reishi, and so much more. Just as Soul Reinforcement is the cornerstone of a Soulborn's progression, the will of an Adept's Soul is the key to theirs. This ability cements their position at the top of the food chain when harnessing reishi & its 'subsidiaries'. This ability offers Adepts a passive comprehension of communications related to expressions of reishi, as well as bare uses of it, granting an inherent gradual adaptation to their abilities in terms of their strengths & weaknesses. They are booned with wisdom specific to it, and tend to subconsciously make drastic leaps in their mental understanding of all they face relative to it.


Perfected honing of how to influence the Spiritual Body, to an extent that almost matches the Soulborn. Controlling one's reishi, for an Adept, is a case of knowing how to weave it directly its state of being upon oneself or another into afflicting something else. They are capable of interacting directly with kishi through this feat, including their own, supplementing the actions normally performed by it; such as movement of limbs and other minute musculature/nervous feats, controlled subconsciously by willing it onto them. At the height of their abilities, this can be pushed far beyond this level to harness kishi and/or its functions more robustly.

A field to declare their own. First perfected by the Gintoki family, this art -- dubbed as Zone is the externalization of an Adept's reishi across a zone in which they densify it, and impose their Soul's Will. While they dampen the efficacy of their spiritual output (barring damage) across this space, they can employ their other expressions of reishi from more than just themselves, and extend their radius of attack or contact. Techniques allow them to extend the baseline radius further, utilize an extended attack range and conduct their armament's attacks from different angles, should they possess a Sacred one.

To conquer reishi is to declare not just your own as superior, but to declare all reishi as your own. Adepts of higher scale are capable of directly interacting with reishi far more easily than any race; wherein most simply bolster their resilience against it, that does not suffice for Adepts. Provided they can establish contact of some sort with a calculation directed to them relative to influencing them via. reiryoku, they can attack it as they would a human. While reliant on bearing superior spiritual output, this breaching of the interaction is indicative of what they're capable of beyond that. Through higher-end techniques, they can extend further to dampening the very use of reishi-relative functions, shearing through it as a shearer would a sheep's wool.
