Limitless

The term that any high-end Adept would apply to a Spiritualist. It is not a proclamation meant to impress or compliment; it is a reality. They are exposed to this reality for themselves as they grow, making them more cognizant of the potential they bear even as an anomaly distanced from 'typical walks of life'. It is an unavoidable development for any Spiritualist, be they nihilistic or brazen, and hopeful of their capacity for growth.

As they dabble further with the capabilities inherent to their affinity, they push closer to exceeding its very definition.

Applied Substance

The precursor to Evolved Meaning. This usually manifests itself as permitting an individual to vaguely imitate a substance's nature, such as a possessor of the Affinity for 'Justice' using liquids as the 'blueprint' for the consistency & properties that their manifestation of justice may have. This only pertains to concepts that do not naturally have a physical form, such as sins or virtues, or lack a complex physical form (like raw, basic reiryoku). This does not require a perk or any particular clause specifying a particular manifestation is feasible (but Specializations do help it).

It is generally done on a technique-to-technique basis and primarily allows techniques to stylize themselves around things like imitating the form & nature of fire without the affinity.

Evolved Meaning

The application of something beyond what it can be naturally identified with. Where Specializations merely permit different, preexisting forms of something or enhance them, to evolve the meaning of one's Affinity is to breach the 'logic' or properties inherent to it. This can be as 'simple' as changing electricity's composition to liquid-like, or something more abstract like learning to shape it into a statue or item still 'comprised' of the affinity's reiryoku (i.e. Lust / Law). The possibilities are truly almost endless, but aren't necessary to those who stick to the baseline of what their Affinity can do or spreads into. This also makes use of the creation of custom perks, and is the root to why they can empower themselves with specific applications of reiryoku, though not to the same extent as a Soulborn.
