The Lu

A clan of battle-crazed Soulborn, the Lu originated from a man proclaiming he was Lu Bu in his previous life. Most of his time was spent in Tasogare Bay where - despite his strongly Huaren origins, he traveled to and mingled with the locals of to hone his strength. It is said that if one digs far enough among the soils near the beach, one can still see the scars he left upon the Soul Plains' coveted earth, suggesting that he was of many to begin the culture of visiting Tasogare to hone one's talents or die trying. Whether it may be true or not, these lots exist today with similar fanatical natures and are known for their oppressive strength and the imposition of their supreme status with a weapon over several others. They are known as the clan of Multi-Bladed Disasters.

Common Info

Matriarch: Lu Fu, the Second Head
Date Founded: 10 Centuries Ago
Nationality: Huaren

Behavior

Those hailing from the Lu have a strong lust for battle and tend to pursue rivalries with those of the same level as them to sate that. Contrary to their brawn-ish approaches and their nonchalant manner of interaction with others, members of the Lu have a profound sense of situational awareness especially when it comes to battle. They utilize this to discern who's the most worthwhile to pursue casual competition against and tend to test this even against the dangers of the Soul Plains -- be it a wayward Soulborn or even wildlife of the Mythical variety. It is alleged that most of their practices are spent studying & bouting the latter, mingling with them as kindred in the wild. They are the most familiar with Mythical Animals by far, and tend to be approached for their knowledge in the field.

Among all the bonds that Lu seek out, their strongest lies with their family and close companions. They tend to be more accepting of individuals who bear the same nature as them in that regard, to an extent that they may spare them regardless of their descent or origins, so long as the Lu's ire was not provoked. Sharing of their personal hobbies - one of which is often the consumption of alcohol is a sign of this acceptance.

Relations

Projector's Guild (Hate): Monkeys that rarely use Kido. Disgusting!
Park (HATE): Disgusted by the Lu.
Xun (MAX): Love the Lu and tend to follow them on adventures. They completely play into the rivalry aspect that members of this family tend to lean toward, and find the bunch to be joyous & exuberant.
Sungyoon Timber (Like): Lu tend to be first-buyers due to their highly-expensive art. Would be higher if not for the heirs & heiresses coming to test their striking power against the lumber they purchase.
Wang Clan (VERY HIGH): Consider them to be the perfect guards, if not a little distracted at times.

City of Sparkles (High): Practically celebrate seeing a Lu.
Golden Stretch (Neutral): Seldom bother trying to engage the Lu, either out of favor or fear.
Towns (Like): Most favor the Lu in these settlements due to their airy nature & willingness to fight.

Appearance

Lu tend to bear shades of red, brown, or white hair as their trademark. They lack any other distinguishing features aside from a natural tone; be they short & narrow-framed or tall and packed to the brim with a broad physique, some sense of musculature always manages to find its way to them. As members of the Lu age, their eyes tend to intensify in reflection of an intense sense of understanding of whatever or whomever they look at, as though piercing right through the soul. When it comes to fashion they lack any particular clothing preference aside from colors, tending to deviate between white, gold & red.

Abilities

Might Exceeding Man: The reiatsu expressed by Lu is naturally warm, tending to adopt an orange or gilded coloration that flares to crimson when their ire is drawn out. Their expression of reiryoku through Zanjutsu & Hakuda is amplified. If anger is at play this is furthered, causing their spirituality to bristle what they lather with it in a manner & shape not dissimilar to fire.
Passage of Might: Witnessed before from other Soulborn but not as a feat practiced by an entire clan, Inherited Might is the primary and trained feat of the Lu that grants them their moniker. Lu can divide the imparting of their soul onto an object (to create a Soul Weapon) upon multiple, allowing them to guide the flow of their affinity into several at once. Their ability with this grows as they do, allowing them to wield up to an additional three that can conduct their affinity, albeit without the inheritance of their Soul Weapon's natural parameters or shape.
