Distanced Brilliance, Edelweiss

Aloof shut-ins, the Edelweiss are a family that can seldom be spotted beyond the walls of their estate. Edelweiss tend to take on quieter job paths as authors, librarians, researchers, teacher aides and -- their most recent favorite, online or remote career paths. They go out of their way to avoid the spotlight, much preferring a 'quiet life' and doing what they can to maintain that even in the face of adversity. This is the youngest Adept family to form in part due to the strain of forming Germanic parties of any sort for decades following a particular tragedy associating their people. This family tends to have a bit of a guilty conscience and frequently leans toward helping others to an extent that can deemed martyr-like. Since they arrived in Japan in the early 90s, they've taken to assisting the education system and preserving the safety of children & those in need, fostering a strong bond with the reputed 'Mother Nature' of the Adepts in the process.


NEET. Shut-in. Closed off from the world. Edelweiss are raised to be kind, be it faux or true to their nature, and to get good at one thing and hyperfocus it into a valid career. These people tend to be near the top in any study that they choose, only limited by the fact that they intentionally withhold themselves from doing anything too impressive, as that would lug them into the relevancy they do not desire. They have a natural affinity for the sciences, with their creation dubbed "Silver Tubes", or 'Ginto', lending credence to that.

Griffith (Like): Good at treating alcohol poisoning (the Edelweiss do not help any of the Griffith get over hangovers).
Ferrari (Like): Always tip exceedingly well. Always buy a lot.

Masters of their Own Creation: Having created Silver Tubes, the Edelweiss Family are exemplary in their use of them and can employ them at any range of combat. They know the ins & outs of any range, destructive power, speed or other parameter that any number of Silver Tubes can output given the right ratio of reishi and many other circumstances, though this is in part due to their other ability. In combat, talented Edelweiss can demonstrate a higher-application of Silver Tubes that allows them to seemingly hide their presence upon any ammunition or among one another in general, as though duplicating them, and divide their own affinity's implementation into these tools to utilize different states or iterations of said affinity (i.e. using fire, lava etc. through 'heat').
Cornea of the Perfectionist: The only family to demonstrate some semblance of a physical enhancement, the Edelweiss are capable of dulling their awareness of physical stimuli to amplify it against the supernatural. With this they are capable of determining the general 'output' of something they are engaging in preempt to physically doing so, such as determining how much harm an attack will bring or analyzing an adversary's martial prowess long before any clash in skill.
